RESEARCH
The research phase for this project was a significant challenge for the design team. We had to visit garages and work directly with managers, engineers, and dealers to understand how they currently operate, identify areas needing improvement, and determine what could be enhanced. Additionally, we posed as customers of other brands to observe how buyers behave and how dealers respond.
DESIGN
The design phase seemed daunting as we had to convey a simulated image of the car within the small frame of a mobile phone. On top of that, numerous elements—primary features, secondary features, and supporting features—needed to be incorporated into the same screen. We had to research and experiment with various methods to ensure the interface was spacious enough for clarity while accommodating all the essential functionalities.
